Why rotation matters more on an EV
Weight and torque wear tires at different rates front to rear. Moving them evens that out and often adds meaningful mileage to a set — the cheapest tread life you can buy.
When it is not possible
Staggered setups and directional tread patterns restrict what can be moved where. In those cases we inspect, adjust pressures, and plan pair replacement instead of pretending rotation is an option.
A sensible interval
Where rotation is possible, doing it at regular service intervals is enough for most drivers. If you drive hard or notice a difference in wear between axles, sooner is better.
Have Ron's check it
We will tell you which category your car falls into and, if rotation is off the table, what to watch instead.
